More or less, More leads to achieving less.
Less leads to achieving more.
Hi,
Sometimes, the secret to achieving more is actually doing less.
Starting something new is hard, but you know what’s even harder? Knowing what to stop doing. We all love adding more—more ideas, more features, more meetings. But real progress comes when you get serious about what you can eliminate.
I’ve seen it firsthand: the more you simplify, the faster you move.
Here is my 1-1-1 breakdown on elimination.
You can’t do everything, and trying to will burn you out. Entrepreneurs often mistake busy-ness for productivity, but in reality, cutting back creates room for what truly matters.
→ Remember: What you choose not to do is just as important as what you decide to focus on. Every ‘no’ is a ‘yes’ to something more meaningful.
What’s one task you’ve been holding onto that isn’t moving the needle? Be ruthless in identifying what’s distracting you from the core of your business. Pick one thing that adds little value—and cut it out.
→ Do this now: Review your current to-do list. Eliminate one task that’s not essential. Delegate, postpone, or delete.
As entrepreneurs, we often add layers of complexity thinking it will make our ideas better. But simplicity is where real progress happens. Every time you’re about to take on something new, ask yourself: Is this really necessary? More often than not, the answer will surprise you.
→ Takeaway: The fewer things you focus on, the better you’ll execute. Remember, subtraction often leads to addition.
The path to success isn’t always about adding more. Entrepreneurship is just as much about what you say “no” to as it is about what you say “yes” to.
So, what are you going to eliminate today to create space for what truly matters?
